Tazusa Sakurano proclaims herself to be a “ten-billion-dollar beauty”, but she is no angel. To just about everyone else, the 16-year-old figure skater is a devil on ice. She is haughty, obnoxious, arrogant and unfortunately, Japan’s brightest rising star.
Now Tazusa is skating on very thin ice! It comes as a rude shock for Tazusa when she fails spectacularly at the Women’s Figure Skating Grand Prix in Canada, but that is the least of her problems when she starts hearing voices in her head. It appears that the spirit of a young Canadian aviator named Pete ends up possessing Tazusa after he dies in an aerial stunt on the same day that Tazusa fails in the competition.
With rivals threatening to steal her limelight, the media hot on her trail, and a major competition - the Torino Winter Olympics coming up soon, the last thing Tazusa needs is a Canadian ghost in her body who will not go away. Yet, Pete might just prove to be her pillar of strength, and may make the difference between Tazusa’s bid for success in Torino.
